Amnesia of the soul:

After all the things I have been through
I still need to rest
And all of the songs I have written
Are solely for you and i.
My eyes are always sleeping
Although my mind stays awake
But the eye is just a cover
For the feelings that we all keep inside.
I seem to have forgotten
What it is that you gave me
For it has been such a long time
Since I have seen who you really are.
Amnesia of the soul
Is a terrible pain to feel
It only makes you worse
But the sun still makes you warm
The sun still makes you scorn
But it will never make you remember.
