~ By Sue ~ Why do they flirt with me I have no interest, now If only they did know What I have been through Maybe they would leave me be It has not been easy For me to forget him Thoughts of him become less Until another man comes around Then I remember where I have been Not that I will ever forget Any of the things he did and said The memories never leave me They just slowly fade away As the days go passing by Sometimes when I feel lonely I think of him again Remembering why I left And the reasons why I will not love again 7-18-03 |

Hi Sue  It's so good to saee you here, Lady!!  I know exactly how you feel. I've had more men flirting with me since my husband died. There must be a shortage of women. Haha!! Really, I know what you mean. But, you know what? When you least expect it, someone so special that you can't resist him, is going to come along and sweep you off your feet. You have so much love in your heart to share with someone, and will one day. You know that Gary or I neither one were looking for someone when we fell in love. I agree with what everyone else says, but more than anything with what Sandra says.. and love, itself, we cannot truly regret, for the loving part was and is beautiful.. but we can go on.. because yes, we are strong.. yes, we are strong..
