Callused and hardened to the barbs never on one side or the other I rode the fence line. I wore my scars inside out as commemoration of my passage. Miles and miles of life I wasted. The fence and I we grew old; comforted in the passing of each post that crossed my path. And then came the day the fence line ended. The fence and I we grew old; comforted in the passing of each post that crossed my path. And then came the day the fence line ended. ~*~ Poignant. And ponderous with choices. |
