How sad the trees in winter’s cold when stripped and bare they stand, exposed and waiting, knowing the fullness of their worth will one day testify to their stability. Hidden underground, unseen, untouchable, new roots search for sustenance like a spirit born in flesh would seek again the home of love upon maturity. Afraid and shy in nakedness yet stubborn in the breeze mistakes of seasons past must fall as leaves to ground with the birthing of belief in love’s timeless loyalty. Trees like you and me greet summer differently but who can test the depths of love upon this worldly stage when all begins and never ends with what we feel inside? Un-maimed, unchanged, love’s essence pure, re-seeds itself in memory, dreams or fantasy so all may know the truth of immortality. And I dream therefore of you through winter into spring till summer blooms again my deepest fantasy and lays in memory the road through living hell towards the open door of all I’m destined for! |

Hurray!! I am so glad to see you posting more in here Helen. Your writing is uncanny, almost like a sixth sense. You stir so many emotions, as if breathing poetry is second nature to you. Now then, about Sunday? ![]() |

Dear Bluesy, What to write on Sunday night that's not been said before is a problem I am having in this reality where I find myself involved with trials of human life! ![]() Martie - Hi, and thank you for the read. |
