Nighttime Dreams

He lives in a stressed filled world
always meeting
deadlines and quotas.
When he reaches his home
of
quiet solitude,
he closes the door
from the unsettled world
of fast paced finance.
A quiet dinner for one,
a glass of chilled wine
and
a soothing warm shower.
Now able to enter the sanctuary
of
nighttime dreams.
As he slowly drifts on
the wings of tranquility
A light fragrance
enters his quiet room
of relaxing serenity.
A young woman smiling
and
touching him with loving
fingers does appear.
She comes to him as if
floating on the wind
and
swirls on sweet nighttime fantasy.
She gently kisses his tired fingertips
and
caresses his brow
with feather like gentleness.
Her breath tickling his ear lobes
with
tantalizing urgency.
The sun filling the room with
warmth and wakefulness
and
the mist of nighttime dreams
disappear in the halls
of
morning light.
Only the slight fragrance
of
a delicate perfume lingers
in this
quiet room of serenity.
Waiting in the hidden recesses
of
his mind
is the anticipation
of
his nighttime dreams
of
ecstasy.

A lovely write, only done by one significant heart as yourself...very much enjoyed...and I think something we all dream, want and desire...course if your a woman...then our night dreams are for that special tall slender longlegged handsome mailman....heehehhehehe!
