Summer Breezes

the soft summer breezes
serenade
through the boughs

as we lay on the soft
grass staring up
at
shades of blu

white clouds of fluff  lazily
drift  across our
vision

we gaze deeply into each
others eyes
with loving thoughts

longing for

a neat, romantic tone which is complimented by the slow flow of the poem.

i like it, but for:

"white clouds of fluff"

i don't like fluff, its a weak description, part metaphor, partly not.

I like this QjQ, it is a timeless snapshot away from the rat race to a nice, real place we'd all like to be, esp with a lover.

I don't know, Daniel Martin, I like the white clouds of fluff, that's what makes them float and stuff...
