Second Chances By Paul Wilson I remember good times we shared over the years These special memories now fill my heart with tears As I watch flowers bloom and rainbows in the sky The thought of you lingers and I begin to cry We always wonder why when someone is taken They leave behind loved one’s with hearts that are breaking Come back, come back we plead there’s much I want to say Please don’t leave me so soon give me just one more day What would you do if you were given one more day What would you choose to do what would you want to say Would you spend it alone or with the one’s you love Just twenty four hours more a gift from God above Today may be that day one more before you go Don’t waste your second chance this could be it you know "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (07-15-2003 07:57 PM).] |
