Seeing you by chance, hurrying through the cold January rain, warmed my heart. Cold for so long, nothing to break it's steel cage, till you came along, now only you can i think of. How i wish you were younger and had not gold on your finger, what soul mates we would be. My day is more real when i see you, but you are off limits to me,as a seagull on an angry sea. Your look of love, forbidden love, disarms me. Do i realy see love in your eyes? Or does my heart trick me? Trying not to think of you, does not work and i miss you more than i did at the start. Would you love me? In the end probably not, is my life destined to be solitary? |

Oh yeah, there's trouble ahead in this poem. Nice compilation of a turning point, after which a person thinks, "I thought I had problems before." |
