Who would have thought That when I picked up a pen My life would soon be filled With so many newfound friends When I began my love of writing Just over two years ago A new door opened up to me As the words began to flow I began to share my feelings With strangers far and wide I exposed my inner self I had nothing left to hide My emotions flowed so freely As I held my pen in hand Like the conductor of an orchestra I let my heart take command You've nurtured and inspired me Right from the very start You listened so intently To all the words that I'd impart We share a special gift Through our love of poetry My words are my foundation And say so much about me * * * "We aspire to act with the eyes and heart of compassion. We know the happiness of others in our own happiness... We know that every word, every look, every action, and every smile can bring happiness to others." I am in motion |

We share a special gift Through our love of poetry My words are my foundation And say so much about me And Sue, isn't it wonderful how so many groups of people come together because of our love of poetry? And, in peace and harmony, at that. Hugs to you, Lady Ethel |

Sometimes, at the end of a day that seems to drag on and on...words are all we have. Sometimes, after everyone is asleep and our thoughts are finally ours...words are all we have. Sometimes, when nothing seems to fill the gap...our words, and thoughts, rythm & rhyme can say it all! Ya know what? I found this place on accident...by far the best accident that I ever had! Sue~~~Your words are so true. The love of writing has opened up a new door for me as well. Thanks for writing what I and others feel in our hearts...Paul "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" |

Sue: A lovely poem which expresses much of what we all feel. I'm sure this site is important to most of us who post here and we do feel like an extended family. Betty Lou Hebert |
