When Utopia Remained The daylight comes, Revealing the hole, In vein it was attempted, To hide from the world. As night fades away, We're reminded of the times, Where so many faltered, And so few overcame. The stain remains, Red against the white, Of the day renewed, Ignorant of night. The survivors walk, Against the backdrop of sin, The horrors relived, Again and again. We stare open mouthed, In blatant disbelief, That ones so pure, Now so full of hate. It turned us around, Made us forget the day, Where hell was unknown, And utopia remained. |
