Poet's Dance kick down the walls of consequence watch them topple slowly down on sacred ground as verse of ink spills from the quill to meet the page in happenstance to take a chance on poet's dance survivor's climb in perfect rhyme each syllable a mark of time as moments pass me by... and still I cry ~vlraynes "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truly met the poet. ~vlraynes [This message has been edited by vlraynes (07-13-2003 03:43 AM).] |

to take a chance on poet's dance survivor's climb in perfect rhyme each syllable a mark of time as moments pass me by... and still I cry I wish you could have seen my jaw drop and my eyes widen as I read this poem.... Other than "You're my HERO!" I can think of nothing to say.... I am in awe. Kielo I'll never know the cost, but all of Him is more than enough for all of me.... |

yes, my friend..tears are good...cry out the poison, until it is mostly gone..then start to pick yourself back up...respect you, for no one will ever respect you as you should be...love you, for no one will ever love you as you should be loved...until YOU do.. dont fear the tears, or the heart ache...it is part of this unfair life that we live in....but the writing is part of your healing....give in to the words.. let them spill as your tears spill...and you will heal my friend..... great job!! enjoyed.. lv,g "If you suppress laughter, it goes down and spreads out your hips."- Steve Allen |

I think you've gotten it exactly, Vicky. The poet's work is a gift to the world that often comes from tragedy, and doesn't help the poet... it's an act of altruism in many ways. "Still I cry," despite the message, the art and the beauty that comes from the tears... it doesn't change what they are. And I've already told you what I think of the meter. Very daring. Brian Faith is a fine invention |
