A thousand miles I traversed this land A mere two years ago. Freedom, a new start – yet So little and so much has changed Freedom I sought then – funny I still seek the same now Geography a lesson learned But freedom from within must come Dig deep, fast, and diligently Find that spark; that glow The fire in the belly that once Drove me to new heights The temptation to travel grows The thought of starting over again The reasoning, rationalizing – But there it’d be the same. |

I, too, am a traveler, so this writing is easy to relate to. The thing is, I have found that no matter where I go, life is basically the same. So, the secret must be to welcome the changes daily, then stay put to enjoy them!! Enjoyed your write here!! ~~V~~ I speak from the Voice Of Experience |

Thank you for your comments. It's been a while since I have published to the site. Nothing hurts more than sitting next to the one you love - knowing it will never be. |
