Bad Boy Through Hell

Bad Boy Through Hell

I thank God that
it was a long time
ago on a cold dark night
when my precious angel
took her flight.
For although the pain
still lives within my heart
it has diminished to a
more bearable degree.
And although I yearn to
make past mistakes right
there are hard lessons to be
learned on heartbroken nights.
So don't play the bad boy.
Treat your angel right.
Truly there is nothing
left but the pain and
no one gains when an
angel takes flight.

You treat an angel wrong and she goes away and when you finally realize what a fool you've been she has already started her next assignment...and you're not part of it...James
