The Beauty of A Person’s Hands They are unique in their own personal way, a person’s hands. Like a baby’s hands- Soft and warm Tiny fingers curious and tender, reaching out to the world and its untold mysteries. A young child- Nails broken and dirty Fingers stroking your cheek when a tear gently falls down your dampened face. Hands of an artist or a musician- Their fingers long and elegant filled with grace. Hands of a working man of the field, or the mother who gently caresses the pain and hurt away. The doctor’s hands strong and sensitive with a tender healing touch. Each finger pattern is different never two the same. They are like a well traveled highway going in many directions with many destinations. My hands are small, not very strong, they are filled with love and tenderness. They are a painter of words. They are one person’s hands.
