Breaking Up is Hard to Do |

You're so gloom and doom, little storm cloud hovering above your head.. "Oh, woe.. Woe is me". Please! Smile, darling, I hate it when you're not happy. I'm hiding deep inside the effect of it all. Tonight, I'll beg myself to keep inside that room - The spare bedroom where we kept all the worthless junk. A mighty heap we'd collected. Stare at the stars through a dusty window, where I spilled red paint.. I run my fingers over the drops that had dried their mark upon the sill.. And still, I hadn't cried, bottled up..explosive love.. Dare I ask, but do your arms miss me? Sealed up this, like a kiss on lips that vanish.. As I say, Breaking up is hard to do, I'm happy that I did it with you. My favorite mistake, you know I still linger upon that window sill.. |
