(edited repost, vintage 2001) harmony and cacophony side by side whispering through the strings of our hearts like ebony and ivory yin and yang up and down merging into one opus in the choir of life when we sing as one note in blended beauty we become unity *Peace* [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (07-09-2003 05:26 PM).] |

that must be a sweet sweet sound to greet the ear.. but how can we hear it when we are all singing.. would we be able to hear over our own voices or better yet, would we be able to hear our own voice over the sound of everyone elses? |

Eagle, haven't you ever sung in a choir? You do hear yourself, even alongside all the other voices. It's called harmonizing when you are singing different notes that blend together, and when it's done well, it truly is a beautiful sound. Thank you, Pilgrim! Glad to have you singing along.
