When you told me you could see forever Were you blinded By my life, my friends My backdoor bodega ends? Or did you look into my eyes And see the poet Then. lost in my own description Banned and exiled you stood by my side The sole visage in which I could confide All my sins and fears I had held secret Countless years You opened the door that Nas could only crack But now open, you are the cold wind that chills me When you are gone I am haunted by the memory of your coming A whirlwind that blows through my stack of leaves Scattering what was once together to the ends of the yard Redefining my concepts on how far I can stretch I don’t know why when I wake, I can’t rid myself of your memory But then again its only been 10 days 10 Days ago you looked into my eyes and said I do love you, as you are and I’m sorry I feel like a stalker in my own home. When I call I am suddenly the one who wont let go [This message has been edited by x8x_bigmike (07-09-2003 04:09 AM).] |

Um...I do like it. But what exactly? Did you get married? It seems rather sad if you did. Sometimes you can't change what's going to happen but you can change how you percieve it. |

I really like it. I think anyone who has broken up can relate to parts of it. But it's a bit odd toward the last, and somewhat confusing. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
