I cannot say you've driven me insane I do that most efficiently myself But to give credit where it's due You are a most amazing alchemist This mix you've helped provide Most surely is eating me alive As I ponder all the reasons why Looking for THE ANSWER Answers are elusive eels Difficult to grasp and hold These things make me laugh or cry Most powerful an unplanned cry Erupting from the heart of me Like molten lava it pours forth Until it's done and I'm wrung dry I also laugh unexpectedly Amidst these pithy ponderings Laugh when it's too ironic to cry It's this kind of philosopy Pushed me over the abyss Pepper "A poem is the very image of life expressed in its eternal truth." I wanted to quote a few favorite lines, but with my third reading, I realized I would had quoted the entire poem. I know your words all too well. You expressed my feelings in a way I cannot, and with that I feel a release. A great write. Patricia |
