Sticks and dirt in my shoes, this is how I carry myself around without you And no one understands why I wrap the wire so tight but I know and you know that we cannot go deep enough So its quiet out there, where they see my lips my nose and my eyes - a bland formation on a lifeless landscape You know I used to see the pumpkin seeds buried and they were beneath the deck, how things grow in the dark I know And I think of you when I am locked up in my covers waiting for tomorrow Moving above and in between, sometimes you live only inside of me so when my fingers roam we can just pretend even if this doesn't make sense and the peanuts are laughing with their planes passing But I'm always on and wanting, this black and blue scar tissue a little something to remind me because it's paintfully obvious that I cannot hold this Someday I won't have to say goodbye to you 070503 the faeries creep into my hair at night leaving it in terrible knots [This message has been edited by Jaime (07-07-2003 11:10 PM).] |

I always did enjoy reading your words even though I never know what to say..I guess I've felt these words but in different scenerios..urgh sorry for the misspelling..*walks away now* If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |

That's the dream -- hold it tight. Beautiful poem, with original wordplay and imagery. I really like this one -- it shows poise and creativity, and that's a promise of even better things to come. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
