A Swift Death…. |

The day you came in that very early redbird springing morn after the night of phone calls and imagined river searches, you, knowing that truth would hurt and that a consummated thought still stuck to you like a spilled lemonade in July you still opted for an upright approach while sitting so only your voice carried, like a pitbull of weight settling, a cannonball of child deep into my senses. It was the time of Rosemary’s baby but this would not, could not be conceived although it was and if conceived, must be birthed although stillborn. That loss of a till-death-do-part union ‘tis a morbid, melancholy thing, to be sure and sometimes I wonder, would you go away, if I could place flowers at a grave? It was a swift death of love the bandaids and time wouldn’t heal the wound but I will never forget I went into your essence knowing you would be the love that changed my life. |

"It was a swift death of love the bandaids and time wouldn’t heal the wound but I will never forget I went into your essence knowing you would be the love that changed my life." Hi Deca! Good to read you here tonight. Love and marriage most certainly can and does change people... sometimes for the better, and sometimes... well..you know. Very well expressed here. ~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~ ~If you haven't heard the sunset, |

How does one write with such gentle yet fierce intensity, much less survive it?? Phew!! The steam heat surrounding your poetry is a wonderful thing Ms. Deca~ |

That loss of a till-death-do-part union ‘tis a morbid, melancholy thing, to be sure Deca, While I was driving the other day this feeling you describe here overwhelmed me. Although I am not always sure where it comes from, I do know it rises as a lump in the back of my throat. So, I shed some tears tonight for you and for me...going to that emotional well in hopes of healing. And as for you, I will do what I know to do...you are in my prayers. Patricia |

My GAWD what an intense write...you have such a way with words, you take the reader completely in. I felt this even though I cannot relate, but, nonetheless, I felt the pull and power in your words. Melissa Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |

Powerful, if painful write Deca. Excellent! |

Your feelings are thrown like pointed arrows directly into the heart of who reads! Deca, what we seem to know that particular day, changes color like chameleons when everyday life keeps us in its grip. Powerful stunning write that touches me deeply. Love and hugs. Margherita |

Excellent work with imagery....you moved this with velvet gloves. A fine piece of writing and a beautiful introspection. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
