The Love I Would Not
Want To Miss

Do you want to be old
and gray regretting
opportunities lost
and moments missed,
wondering why you
didn't respond to
tokens of love.
Why you passed up a
perfectly good chance
to share a sweet kiss.
Living in regret over
the love you have missed.

No, I didn't think so,
and neither do I.
I stand willing to give
chances of love a good try.
Who am I to turn love away?
Love is as essential
as night and day.
Love is as necessary
as food and air.
Love is a precious feeling
that was meant to be shared.

There are so many people fearing to say yes to love, only to regret it later and mourn the lost chance.
