Willow weeping over me... tears running through your heart. Your limbs so gracefully bowed sweeping the ground with your woven-leaves brushing over the sadness that, sometimes, comes over me. You are bent; but not broken. You have given me the hope that, if I, too, am bowed beneath the weight of testing, I will be found worthy to stand. Willow weeping your tears over me, remember where I have come from, how many new phases I am going through. Let your woven-leaves drink my tears to ease your thirst as you grow more green, produce new life. And, I will remember always how you bowed your limbs and how you wept tears over me. |

Ivy Rose, the power of this poem is in its serenity and acceptance. Well done! Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
