Anticipation, I can't wait, I'm so excited, filled with joy like a child at Christmas, delighted, Its on its way to me, far across the distance but closer every minute, each day I check to see if it has arrived, Sending his love inside, little gifts from his loving heart, I want it to be a surprise, Curiousity fills my mind, Inside, what will I find?, In my hands will be the very pieces of his heart, special things just for me he has bought, Then there are the treasures, keepsakes, unique gifts he has made with his own hands, these are the ones, my heart values most of all, Some of them I will buy a frame and hang them beautifully upon my african bedroom wall, Sending his love, his little box of love, to me, I wished he was in it, But for now I can't stop thinking about my box of love, I think about it every minute, Sentimental I am, I will keep it all, I will touch it a thousand times, smell it, read it, touch it again, until the next box of love he sends!
