I must learn to accept
The beauty and depth
Of your love...
Your dreams of
Children, and growing old,
And laughing at our bones of mold.

I must learn to face my fears,
That sometimes smiles come with tears,
And not all men are made of spears.

I've got to learn to stop
Being afraid to go "be-bop"
More than once in a while...
That I'm prettier when I smile.

You've already learned I need some time
That I cannot turn on a dime
And I'm prone to acting like a mime......

So I'll do my best to see
That love is part of me
And pain is a chance I'm ready to take,
And this moment could never be...
