A poem I wrote for the anniversary card I made for my wife for our 37th anniversary which was yesterday.


The chemical mixture
Of love begins
Just when we are born
Our experiences in life
Temper and grow
That love which was begun
As we were born
So fortunate we are
When love moves us to
Meeting someone
Who gives
Experiences
That stir the mixture
That life began
Our love has gray hair
And scars warts and some pain
Excitement and pleasure
But how much we are better
For all that we have gained
So Love I continue
To experience and mix
That wonderful beginning
As our life intertwine
For many more years
Much love we have had
So much more we will find
As our lives continue to grow together
