Stimulating Thoughts

I am waking up to reality,
its hands caressing me in warmth,
stimulating thought until
tomorrow has its way.

I am my own answering machine,
dictating the rules of the game,
guiding the words that will flatter my existence,
allowing cracks to form,
and the oozing to begin.

I've barely scratched the beauty of it all,
and when I awake on the other side,
I will know it was meant to be.
