given what you've given
and taking what you've lost
finding summer in the winter
and beauty in the moth

to see the evil in every good
and giving sun to every cold
to be received and misunderstood
to give the youth back to the old

to heal the wounds of those impartial
to leap from buildings with wings stiil bound
to eat the sun and leave it partial
to thank the moon and give back its crown

you are far from special this i know and so i let you go?

your more than i could ever describe but still i let you go

i see the dark and still love the light but still there's something, that i don't know

I enjoyed how you have written the many moods of love...loving her for who she is, those special and rare unique things about her that no one else could ever duplicate or own, within her imperfections, are the true her, discovering life...fulfilling her own self image...who she is...a very special lady....Great poem, very much enjoyed.

Very nice. There is light and dark in everyone. It is whether YOU see more light than dark. That is the key!
