Multitude of thoughts all at once Scattered to the wind Venture the truth be freed And reads a new morning spirit How great to whom nothing belongs Communicable to every soul In the end to attain the final good In view of all the error's woe There is no time for things adverse And overrated Truce now rests in regal sound No more deafening shouts berated Entertaining notes angelic To many a radiant harp In leaps and bounds disguise has flown Off to another land Where noise and endless wares be gone No more confusions stand He fell with pride and mischief Before my eyes the end now brings A worthy faithful cause Away to dismal regions born That by the weak shall leap Not returning contempt of slave To hate or disbelief I’ve fought the watchful wait With meeting condemnation head on Be now in powerful hands to part What now was weak and wrong Sometimes the way is most fitful and right That show forth goodness to every soul I gave it all my heart and might With no expectations held Courage is the final gain...mustering what appears a life is now aware of change and brand new beginnings. |

I think I am beginning to figure you out, just taking me a little while. This poem speaks of sin, mistakes, of choices, of directions...of how to get to a place that assures us our safety... I will read it again, and digest more. A very beautiful write....thanx. |

This poem, well, all my poems were inspired by a deep love of which I learned years ago...since then I've been writing, and this all enveloping love mingles with nature, the ocean, the air we breath...it is being in love, liking yourself, and complementing all that comes your way...even the bad seems easier once this love becomes your home...and the wait of 5 years ago, until this past Sunday, was well worth the growth, b/c for a moment...I felt home again. Thanks to all of you...for your kindness in not only reading but commenting as well. |
