Tuesday Morning Thoughts News sitting, gets to me when I think of all the possibilities and try to keep those that are positive alive. Mean letting, irritates me when those of the opposite sex think they can argue me into spending more for repairs than what is needed. They forget that my car is like a child to me and that I have cared for it for 14 years... (I know, most are in the junk heaps by then but I take care of what's mine) So I know what "touches" it needs. And told them what I wanted repaired. ~~*~~ So, I think of you and where you are and wonder if you've passed this way. So quiet is the silence here that dreams are closer on this day. Pretending offers me that choice a calm before the storm may hit. So wishful thinking brings me here to read and sit and rest a bit. and wait....for normalcy to return. "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Hi SEA, just sitting here waiting for the phone to ring, hoping for good news and thinking wayyyy too much today. Actually I am beginning to think I have very little to offer anymore in the way of poetry...I probably should just read and respond and not post hugs nice to see you M [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (07-01-2003 11:09 AM).] |

All of life is poetry M...and you bring the stir that takes shape in each day to light for us. Never stop. Enjoyed the intertwine of impatience threaded in the wanderings of love...TD |

I like the flow in this one, especially toward the end. And I admire your attitude with the car. I let them walk all over me, and just hand them my checkbook. sigh. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Pretending offers me that choice a calm before the storm may hit. So wishful thinking brings me here to read and sit and rest a bit. Maureen, I know this.... and, I also know this..... when those of the opposite sex think they can argue me into spending more for repairs than what is needed I hate to take a vehivle in for repair. They always try to tell you more than what you took it in there for. And this, Lady, is a nono Actually I am beginning to think I have very little to offer anymore in the way of poetry...I probably should just read and respond and not post Maureen, I hope you never do that. Sometimes I don't know what to say, but I do love to read your poetry. Heart hugs Ethel [This message has been edited by garysgirl (07-01-2003 11:03 PM).] |
