Softly Kind Of Chaos It's impossible to lose the sky that dwells over The clouds and it's attempt to drive me insane I always seem to be beneath just when they release And, so sure it's my last walk in the rain... But, certainty has yet to provide me with a smile The waters just assure me what I live without Your face haunts just when I gain strength to stand This softly kind of chaos I know too much about... It's not enough to drown but enough to break my spirit And, justice doesn't come from what used to be It's the softly kind of chaos that lingers when reminded When running this familiar path to your memory... It's that delicate ache that causes reality to pause And, the silence becomes louder then a storm on a roll It's that tap into subconscious so thought forgotten That causes this softly kind of chaos to unfold... It's the kind of laughter with a tear right behind Where lost thoughts are no longer sacred to keep It's a softly kind of chaos that mingles for a moment at hand When standing on the edge of something much too deep... It's a call to the unexpected that chaos is near A surprise to the heart that leaves it's mark ever here A little kind; a little hard; a little sigh is found When all tears that fall only know their path down... Saunni, this is beautiful and creative. I can't believe it has no comments, so here's bump to the top, and I'm saving it to my library. |

It's the kind of laughter with a tear right behind Where lost thoughts are no longer sacred to keep It's a softly kind of chaos that mingles for a moment at hand When standing on the edge of something much too deep... I am sitting here trying to find the words to tell you what this means to me...But whatever I come up with doesn't seem adequate. For the time being I will just try to breathe and go back to read this over again. Saunni~ This is a lovely kind of chaos, and as always, a very special poem from you. |
