Sage tenderly emits a voice singing to the ears of earth Market place of countenance blowing vigor’s gaily berth Anchoring magnetic harmony to the listener’s sponging core Of wind, or’r land & seas, life’s womb tumbling ever forth Undertones of languid seasons, contain breathless patient years Fires spreading innate beams, mutual Carnegie premieres Full circled glowing home, welcomes musical flakes so poignant Where heaven details many stars, melodious plumes utterly fragrant Loving waves, cloistered nostalgic, ripens refuge in this nest Eye of soul, world of ecstasy, spurts golden ingots at it’s best To fill and refill goblet’s brainchild, cavalcades our springtime verse We gulp, as if our heart’s could think, sweet flocks and whirling herds Therefore, deep within each and every gracious human soul Swarm feats of life, seeding wisdom’s secret goals Because we are the doers of our own eternal dreams By all men’s faith in human art and doubtless liberty By Lee J. 05/19/03 By Lee J. © 2003 Lee J. As I read this, I pictured the quenching of a thirsty world. Enjoyed the word play, and can't pick a single line I liked more than another. A great write. TD |
