Girl at Play

Enchantress begged,
Come and play!
though Deca waved her
on her way

for thoughts were elsewhere
of rivers
and streams

and finding ways
to count moonbeams

to lay in wait
as a loved one’s fate
would be where
rivers would flow
and streams would know

that moonbeams would bed
two lovers in glow

Deca dear...how nice of you to gift Nancylee with this write. I'm a little miffed as even when we were kids, she never begged me to come and play....I think it was visa versa
