Heart Itch Dedicated to Keth She said it’s like an itch between her and I And yes its true we feel each others sigh When the road gets too rough and long Somehow our souls reach out in song And she and I know whatever we do There’ll always be a link between us two For the itch between heart and soul Is what keeps us both completely whole She said she feels me thinking of her And its true I feel my soul kind of stir When we first met on those pages blue It’s almost as if each of us knew That our souls had found perfect peace Linked together our strivings cease She lifts me up to a better place And I find truth and love by her grace She said that itch between soul and heart Ensures that we’ll never be apart Truthfully I wonder where would I be If she hadn’t reached out her hand to me The path I walked was dark and drear And I was sad and quite full of fear But her touch within my heart is sure And she guides me to havens heavenly shore The miles between us don’t seem so much Because our souls and hearts keep in us touch Marsha Keth beloved one a little thank you for the gift you are for walking with me in the shadow-lands and for bringing me home again Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds but I can face the future with courage brave and bold Footprints In My Heart Kethry [This message has been edited by Marsha (06-25-2003 01:02 PM).] |
