Somewhere halfway between here and there
lies a realm I habitually wander within,
a habitat wherein dreams and fantasies
liberate my mind and soul
from the mudflats and sinkholes of earth.
It’s not the Elysian Fields
nor is it any Valhalla
or Shantineketan, but
a dynamic living fluid of blue,
a cyber world of words,
a myriad of thoughts and emotions
which massage me lovingly with
healing salves of friendship and understanding.
It is a place I go to
when morning’s light doesn’t shine,
or when the midnight moon hides in the dark,
unable to keep the soul’s spark alive
within this too-fragile heart.
Passionate people parade here,
presenting perfumed poetic parcels
for this pauper’s perusal.
Casting aside all worries and fear,
I dwell in this realm
halfway between here and there,
seeking and finding
great Peace.

Namaste
Peace
Shalom

Thank You

It is good to be here!

I'm sorry, I read you're poem, but something is wrong with me....and I can't think of....anything to say

It was nice..

I said I'm going to buy a gun and start a war,
If you can tell me something worth fighting for

AW, thanks for reading this and bringing it back. I forgot about this one! It really is a magical place, and reading at Pips is part of my regular schedule.
