How ironic that you pass away in my favorite month, the month that always gets me hot. I'll always associate you with sun-baked salty sweaty skin Lying on the beach as I listened to your words. Not a sensual moment in my life goes by without your words your voice being a part of it. With your sultry-sounding baratone You sang of love in every way: I'm Gonna Love you Just a Little More, Baby, I've Got So Much To Give, Never, Never Gonna Give You Up always brings me to my knees! Anyone that knew me knew that your music was better than foreplay for me. You've always had a way of making me feel my sexiest, giving me music to grind to move to, putting me in an instant mood- My body in tune to the beat of your music. I'll carry on my ritual Lifting my glass intoxicated by homemade raspberry wine as I sway by body in lycra suits to the tune of You're the First, The Last, My Everything always ending my nights with Barry White. |

There was something very special about Mr. White. His stylings in music would have seemed foolish and affected if done by another, yet he pulled it off with very believable style. Somewhat like Nina Simone in that her style also is hard to accept in another. Thank you for sharing this poem. |

Thank you for your tribute to Barry White. I had only just learned of his passing today. It is a truly great loss to the music commuinty. His music will always be an inspiration to many. In the words of Barry White..."I can't get enough of your love, babe." quatro |
