When Silence Surrounds
~ By Sue ~

Sometimes it is hard
To forget those special years
When our love was new

When silence surrounds
My thoughts are right there with you
Wishing you were here

But then I do think
Of all the things we went through
Then my wish does change

We all have those kind of thoughts when the night is long and quiet. Then presto! It is a new day and we are thinking more clearly - thank goodness! Good write Sue. hugs, Chris

I know what it is to miss what I wish had been.  Then I go through a reality check.

Nice writing, Sue!

Yes you always think why did I give you up. Then the reality check comes in and you remember why. So true. Great write.

And with the morning comes the dawning of a new day!--and you are free and your own person and you have made a brand new life for yourself!

Those painful moments will continue to come and go, but they'll come less frequently and be of shorter durations! Thank goodness!

This is a keeper Sue, simple and clear a statement from the heart. I would not change a word.

(big hugggsssssssss) And that is a very wise decision, dearest friend, I just wish for you to be happy and there is apparently no reason to looking back without feeling regret! (sigh) So...leave the rear view mirror dirty, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

When it's good it's great, and when it's not it's horrible.

I know exactly where this one is coming from sweet friend.

Great write!!

A right decision and the sad feelings and thoughts will eventually be replaced by fond memories. There IS a fond memory here, there and way back when!

Excellent write, from the heart!

Blessings!

To all of you!
Thank you for reading and replying. Those reality checks are indeed good to have. They keep us out of trouble.
