~*~

Hug a tree,
You won't regret it.
Hug a tree,
You won't forget it.

Hug a tree,
It's very grounding.
Hug a tree,
Feel heart pounding.

Hug a tree,
Feel the sap rising.
Hug a tree,
It's energizing.

Hug a tree,
It's very healing.
Hug a tree,
It's quite appealing.

Hug a tree,
Wisdom of ages.
Hug a tree,
Essence of sages.

Hug a tree,
Connect with God Source.
Hug a tree,
Feel the Life Force.

Hug a tree,
You won't regret it.
Hug a tree,
You won't forget it.

(smiles) Oh Linda, this is beautiful, sweet friend, this made me smile as so much of your beautiful poetry does! (kiss on cheek) May we all hug mother nature and offer her the consoling she so very much deserves that too many take for granted! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Noah ~

I hug at least one tree whenever I go for a walk! I don't even care if anybody watches me! I just smile sweetly at them and hope that they're thinking "at least she's a happy nut!" LOL

My favorite trees to hug are maples, oaks, and elms.

Huggums!--trees!
Linda

Hmmm...if I hugged a tree everytime I walked the dog, I'd be makiing a lot of new friends huh?  And the neighbors would probably get some pretty funny videos too!!!  Your levity is contagious Linda!

Linda...maybe it wasn't such a good thing
when I had 4 pine trees removed from my
yard...I didn't hug any of them...because
it cost me major bucks!!  Maybe they were
getting even with me??

A tree to thee's
like a tree to me
They don't hug back
And they charge no fee!
(Tee, hee!)

Great write
and fun to read!

Blessings!

Duncan ~

Well, I once had a couple of cantankerous old coots look at me as if I was completely off my rocker, so I said to them that the trees are my friends and I hug my friends!  Well, they took off like bats out of hades and I almost split my sides laughing!

On second thought, perhaps you should hug a tree when no one is looking. LOL

Magnus ~

It all depends. After they were removed were they thrown into a chipper!--Perish the thought! --or were they transplanted and given a lovely new home?

If you don't know for certain what became of them, perhaps it would be prudent of you to send some prayers up to the universe on their behalf. LOL Oh, my! It would have been so simple if you had just hugged them! You might even have become friends and then you wouldn't have had to spend all that money trying to get rid of them!

Huggum trees!

O_O...Very timely. I hugged a tree yesterday!! It was a very small and skinny pine tree...And though it feels kind of silly to say it outloud...It felt like I was hugging a sweet, innocent little child.

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

I can picture the scene now! LOL

Hey, I've got an idea! Why don't you teach your dog to hug a tree instead of peeing on it! LOL
