"My value system, my beliefs, and my morals are three very different things,
any one of which would require a book to explain."
....ANONYMOUS

(The books are not out yet I guess.)

Is this possible that the three things come from totally different bases?

I thought that value system and moral are based on beliefs.

value system--what can be proven by my actions.

beliefs--words and theory, subject to change

morals--that feeling of guilt when the two above argue

Thank you, dear SB.
Do you mean that they are like the three branches of the government? no, you do not mean that!

I need time to think about it.

Can I say that I have a value of my parent's,  belief of my own and morals of socially acceptable?

Morals go deeper than manners.  Manners are not divorced from moral considerations, but I always think of manners as something like "protocol".

I wish Karen lived with me.

I would love a gentle tap on the shoulder and the clarity of her words 24/7.

(Why can't I think like you???)

obvisouly, I agree with Karen...

and what she said has sparked some congnitive reflection that I need to put in my journal...

I wanna go back to school and study human behavior...

Build me a cave and I just might come. *laughing*

OH lawsy, woman.

I just love how you love me. (Remember that old song?)

*wince*

That's gonna be in my head all day now.

It's very selfish of me. I love those that actually teach me, make me a better person. I get bored with the rest.

See?  I am a terrible person.

AND? I HAVE A CAVE!! It's currently being called my house.  *nod*  Yes, that is exactly what I mean.

My morals need work I think.

Can we not value and believe without adhering?  after all there is no such thing as perfection..
