I am still reading.
The old man's view on human characters based on the rocks are not acceptable to me. You know, I know,  that human characters are richer and more colorful than that.

Last time when you dropped 4 names , i had to go to book store at night to flip through Greenspan's biography. now, Here come another assignment. But you do not give out a scholarly look at all by your photo.  for the best "the most wanted" if I might say. You may need a suit and tie style or something like that.

Oh, that's just rich.

Now she's judging photos.

That's no way to thank a man for helping you.

Sir Brad,

thank you very much.  A picture indeed is worth of ? words as you use words of volumes.

Sir Local Rebel,

"and I assure you, nobody wants me"

....because all your friends are busily reading Rand's rational self-interest.

Well, a couple of years ago, my daughter and I would set up the chess board and I would try to teach her the basics of the game. After about five minutes or so, she would pick up a random piece put it on a random square and scream, in Korean, "I won."

All of this seems mysteriously familiar to me.

The old man considered  that Human was machine
.....Wrong. Human has love and other feelings. And human have the ability to produce off springs.

The machine(human)  is worked  solely from outside.
.......Wrong. Temperature can make egg a chick , but not pebbles .

Whatever a man is, is due to his Make.
.....Wrong. If he thought that that the man is made then he would know that he was granted free will.

Braveness is with born.
.....wrong. True braveness is from wisdom.

Self-interest
.....If the old man thought human was machine, then there should no interests, self or rational.

Sacrifice
.....The old man denies that human has love.

Every credit to God
.......wrong. If he believe God, the he no doubt believed  that there were devils.

The conflicts of the old:
1. if he thought human was operated solely from outside, why bring in the –self interest concept?
2. if he mention God, why he did not mention devil?
3. he made the youth think that there were a you and a your brain. You and your brain are the same thing.
4. inside-outside….biologically, to every receptor there is a ligant. And human body have build-in mechanisms...such as the self-clean function of the immune-system.

So the old man was a sly liar and the young a dumb.
