. What does any identity now have to do with any thing or one eternal? . |

Considering resurrection, the relation would be similar to that of a seed to a plant, or a caterpillar to a butterfly. If our identity is God-determined, rather than chance-determined then it is reasonable to think he won't forget the pattern. This also comports well with the fact that most philosophies and religious have almost assumed that this life is a kind of trial? That idea would be non-sensical if our identities weren't related to eternity. This idea seems so natural to believe, and pervasive, that I can't help but think it's another one of those clues pointing us to the truth. Stephen. |

If eternity doesn't include now how can it be eternity? That would mean that we are the place in the universe where eternity ends. Why would eternity end here and now? I don't think it does. Our identities may change and become other things, but that doesn't mean they aren't eternal too. Change itself seems to be the very means of being eternal. |

We are interrelated to other & all matter in the space around us…we experience ourselves, attitudes, feelings as something detached from everything else, but, we are, in fact, a part of all things…all nature, all motion, people and properties of matter. I believe all human knowledge is founded on the concept of atoms and forces in space and in time, all separate, yet, so closely interconnected…to the many changing things of the universe which is never-ending, therefore, we to are infinite, what we think, who we are, how we behave, what we believe, our actions, carry us on into an internal, eternal existence, which has an infinite system. Man establishes with the infinite world around him, which binds his life to that infinity and guides his actions forever…nature and man are much alike, it is man’s conditioning, that sets him apart from all things…yet truth survives, and truth is infinite...as well as our identities... just my thoughts on the subject... |

. Who we are or think we are in the moment is of no consequence except as a carapace that keeps us from who we always were . |

John, You were John yesterday, and today, your still Johy but a day older from the moment you wrote your last comment...your different today, and will be even more different tomorrow, because nature around us constantly evolves/changes...hence, so do we, you are one day older, and perhaps in that time, one day wiser...and human life is essential to the balance, balance in nature, in our seas, animals, matter around us including universal existance. You are one day older John, and change has happened in your mind, body and soul...and this goes on, even after we die...the changes in others you've touched, their lives, your children, mother, father, grandchildren...everyone on this earth whose path you've crossed, well, simply, their lives have also changed by meeting you, knowing you...we are all interconnected...even with nature...and this goes on and has gone on since the beginning of time. It will continue to go on, right through to eternity...what ever you believe yourself to be, flowers, here, and grows tomorrow into something bigger, stronger, and basically essential. |

Wouldn't you have needed to be a "were" to currently be a "now?" Because you can't get to the "now" without going through the "were?" And I said to the devil, "You better leave my spleen alone." |

Whenever I look at the time it always says exactly the same time: now o'clock. And yet whenever I look in the mirror I do not look exactly the same. |
