I noticed something while cruising around here. Everyone has two cent for every topic and thats wonderful. This kind of open-minded expressionism helps us all. But my curiousity has finally overcome me. I just have to wonder if this sharing has in any way made us alike. I mean I can probably safely say that more often then not someone makes a great point here and someone else changes their views towards this new insight. So lets put it to the test, how many here have changed views and agreed with someone else and been the better for it? And how many times? |

I change my mind all the time. I don't know if that makes more or less like anyone else, nor do I really worry about it. My opinions and views are in a constant state of change and everything I actually say is always, always provisional. I like it that way ![]() ![]() |

Is it someone's view accually being changed or are they conceding a point? There are always 6000 different views of the same thing. Just because I see it differently then you do, doesn't mean you nor I am wrong in our seeing. Being able to also see where someone else is coming from is a very good thing. It doesn't make us weak, on the contrairy, it make us strong. |

Well, if I have an opinion on a subject, and someone has an opinion that makes more sense to me, that is more logical, I change my original opinion to theirs. However, I don't do it to just fit in, or anything like that. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |
