Raising confident, self-respecting, and respectful children. Maybe that is a series of things. "... the rest is silence" |

That "it" is not about one person. We must learn to listen with our eyes and ears. Learn to read the facial expressions, body language and subtle nuances. And even then we may not have it correct. So often I see someone jump to conclusions brought on by their own idea of what is going on or what is meant by something some one wrote or said.. We are complicated indivuals. I was always “shy” until I learned, "IT" was not all about "ME” and I began to think of others and forget the Me of it... |

Still learning, but so far, I guess, the most important thing I've learned is "forgiveness." This is a pretty tough question to answer! Tomorrow my answer might have been different. |

The most important thing i've ever learned is to learn to love your enemies, once you learned to love your enemies you can learn to love yourself. some say that you have to love yourself first, yes... but what if you are the enemie? Jarrett |

i can say from experience that getting a tattoo on a particular part of your chest hurts more than getting shot (although it was a reasonably small caliber). the best thing i've learnt so far is that you can't change what you can't change you've just got to work it I don't care if you think I'm a fool but don't ever tell me so |

There are a whole host of things I have learned that I think are of equal importance...however I will give you one that I learned recently: Forgiving is personal. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

I found myself trying to be cute or clever or both, so I decided this probably wasn't a good time for me to take a shot at the question. I did remember a poem by W.D. Snodgrass. One of the nice things about it is that he seems to know he's unable to break free from being cute, but is willing to look a little foolish anyway. I guess I envy that. Here's a link. http://www.poets.org/viewmedia.php/prmMID/15301 |
