This is off my poem i have in #34. If a tree falls when no ones around, does it make a sound? Do we have the right justify life and death? Are we so bold to say just, because a child can't cry, we can throw them away? like trash? How do we know they don't cry? Juju |

It's hard to understand where you want to go with this, but you seem to be talking about self-awareness at least as an addendum to existence. If that's the case, the decision isn't a right, it's an obligation. You are 'thrown' into a world where you have no choice but to choose. Sartre called it a 'terrible freedom' if I'm not mistaken. Or, if you want, Neal Peart: "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice." from Rush's "Free Will". |
