To me a little more light hearted than suicide (though not so light on the stomach), this question may baffle bards, poets, philosophers, chemists, biologists, physicians, and morticians for ages to come. My idea...Check out this website: http://pemtropics.mit.edu/~jcho/spam/archive.html SPAM-ku archives. Then, after you've got the overall "flavor" (bad analogy!) Maybe we could write some SPAM-ku here to express our philosophical ponderings about this putrid pink conglomeration that is ever swathed with the ectoplasmic jelley of our curiosities... that we have called SPAM ....AM ...AM ...AM... (formidable echo) Using the 5 - 7 - 5 syllable format, here is an example or two to inspire you potential masters of Spam-ku. She shook the cold tin, a morbid thud, and Spam WAS. Porcine NIRVANA! or A trail of vomit, speckled with shards of pink meat, Sam ate Spam again! or Sue's windshield was struck by the slick pink projectile. SPAM road rage is real! Have fun! Yes Swamp Faeryie, that is a VERY good description of Spam, but I think you could improve a bit on the 5-7-5 syllable concept! (LOL!) |

Perhaps spam is an archetype used to portray the cheap and petty use of money to solve all of life's difficulties. But all phlosophical conjecture aside for a moment, I especially liked this one! 16124. SPAM: slurp it on up! It tickles on the way down and on the way up. --Craig Thomsen |
