The fabric of our long embrace seems strained The push and pull that bound us has remained And quietly I look across the mists of time And there to see so tenderly your eyes meet mine For this is not the typical of love affairs From deeper thoughts in simmer through unflinching stares To learn the secrets harbored in a tranquil sea To give and take the tides that rise more easily In trust of one another as divined it seems Outside the bounds of romance into living dreams And quietly I look into the place we share And honestly to see the smile just waiting there Once woven into silk the threads of us are lost Once taken to the heart the bridge of longing crossed And grown inside these hearts to keep of honey well And each in turn the taster at the dinner bell Copyright Kkh 5/1/03 |

I love it all, but I can really relate to these two verses. Hugs, Ethel |

TD, I have yet to read a poem of yours that has failed to move me. Write a book, I'll read it. Sunkissed. |

(smiles) Oh Kathleen, this is lovely, sweet friend, how I would only imagine watching the ocean move like honey and the cataracts make variations of maple syrup! (kiss on cheek) This is gorgeous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |
