Only A Body Only a body and nothing more. No one has a clue to what is inside this mind of more than fifty years. I have given up on warring over the terms that make up my life. I have decided to live exactly as those close to me expect me to. It was a concerted effort to try to wage a campaign to combat this depression that wishes to claim me. But I am only a body and nothing more. "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

It does feel like we are at war with ourselves sometimes! I suppose because there is always something worth fighting for. Don't you ever surrender yourself Maur~ Just a body? Hardly~ |

You are a good friend Lori...but I see my daily reflection and there is nothing there but what is on the surface...and even that is not pleasing enough anymore. |

Hardly is correct....for from within that body...no less beautiful than the words that escape your pen....comes forth a river of magnificence... |

I think we all have felt this way at one time in our lives, an empty face staring back at ourselves. Julie |

Magnus, thank you, I appreciate your responding and kind words. It's good to have you back. Julie, sometimes it's not the empty face but the lack of expression that can haunt one. thank you M |
