The face that moved a thousand ships, For whom countless words are written, Spoken, heard, thought, created - Whitman's Gaia, Homer's Helen; Where wer your borthers when you were taken? Lust, greed, desire; Paris liked that others' Jealousy devoured them - but not Hector, Not Akhilleus, and the Gods loved their Apathy. The doom of men - Cassandra whored! Hecuba ravaged, Andromache passed around the Camp! Neoptolemus spilling blood at the Alter of God - boom, boom, drums roll, Always they try to drown out the cries of Suffering - you - nymph, goddess, divine; All for you - woman - you who are all! Only the end of all will end suffering. -majnu |

Interesting.... Bridgette "Somewhere, somehow, it should be possible to touch someone and never let go again. To hold someone, not for a moment but forever." Unknown |

Majnu dear friend, didn't expect any less from you. A highly intelligent rant. It is clever and insightful but nevertheless feels like a rant. Not a bad thing though, it actually works in this context... well done, love, claire (missbookworm) "more than yesterday, less than tomorrow, i love you" |
