~*The Heart Of A Poet*~ Listen to the heart that weeps onto the page, each written word heals just a little more pain. Verses holding the secrets inside~ tears fading the ink through time. Hear the heart whispering across the page telling it's story of days gone by. Feel the emotions bled through the words~ somehow, somewhere a soul is searching' seeking to soar. Read the words spilled onto the page~ behold the heart of a poet. I must have had my momma's will and Gods Amazing Grace... I'm a survivor.... I'm saving this in my library until then You have my applause, this is beautiful. Melissa~ Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |

lol, thanks Melissa. Ya know me, if it doesn't rhyme it don't seem quit right to me, but this is one of those times rhyming didn't feel correct, so this is it... Glad that you enjoyed this. I must have had my momma's will |

Kari, it has been so long since I even had a notion to write, seems my muse briefly abandoned me or was just being stubborn. This sort of came to me yesterday and I wasn't sure how to make it complete. Now it feels complete. Thanks my sunny days will never end friend.... I must have had my momma's will |

Excellent poem, If only the words could heal, For some they do For others they just fall unnoticed Like tears in the ocean Or a message scrawled in the margin Of a very thick book. Enjoyed Gloom |

All hearts perhaps contain the same things... but a poet's heart does indeed offer the world a window in.. something so many do not do.. enjoyed this... |

Hello Donna No truer words have been spoken. You captured the very essence of a poet and I'm sure we can all relate to your heartfelt words. "A poet weaves his words through each verse to create a most beautiful tapestry for us all to admire" Take care.......Sue I am in motion |

I am truly overwhelmed right now at the response to this. It seems no matter how long we are away from these pages, while we are gone in our hearts we are still poets, and always will be. Thank you all so very much, you guys and gals are truly the best group of people anyone could ever want as friends. Peace to poetry land, ~D~ I must have had my momma's will |

Now you've given me a quandary. How could I choose between this and the duet you did with Karilea. If you've not been writing, your muse has rewarded you wondrously for putting pen to paper. A beautiful write. KJ Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |
