Beneath the rain, the fresh scent of washed anew comes softly through. Just like the rainfall that has saturated our love with a cleansing, a freshness that makes me ever true and makes you a better you. Beneath the rain, the cleansing waters of you and I have washed away the questions of why and have brought us a fresh, new day. Just like the rain drops that soak us through allowing our love to soar on high, giving our hearts the wings to fly. You and I are beneath the rain, are in its spell, since those drops of rain have touched our hearts...and fell. |

Ivy Rose, I like this. So very true. I was just reading some old notes and mottos and such and though I did not write the following, I like it a lot and it reminds me of your poem: ...if you want the rainbow you have to pass through the rain... Enjoyed, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

I really like the rhymning pattern you used with this - it's so perfect, and not too simple that it sounds like a nursery rhyme. Lovely, lovely read! ~ Poets cry with words, not always tears, you see. ~ PoetSeaMaiden |
