Remembrance, Rebirth, Release Sometimes extraordinary moments of black and white seem colored with time, until the shell cracks, then all that remains are jewel-toned in special capture, where skin to skin embeds prints of depth, drenched instantly warm in remaining haloes for this was back when most had just one parent each, and simpler times were unpretentious perhaps, or because, we did not yet have the knowledge of all we might or should know? As in when is too much, much too heavy, as in when do our shoulders bear burdens of lives past, and when does the past choose to reinstate itself upon the innocent? If we choose to talk our histories, and in sharing bear the story, then in the story, hear the tale, and in the tale, acknowledge the losses… only the storytellers who listen to the leaves move in the wind might gather up the cracked shells of time, then weave them gently into a necklace of honor, to leave among our young… for somewhere in the egg is life, and rebirth… for in the renewal, it is they who will have their own stories to leave, but without the past to draw upon, will have nothing but hollow promise… ~*~ To those that read this… A Blessed Easter… A time of Remembrance, Rebirth, Release. |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Karilea, this is very heartfelt, sweet friend, that is why this holiday always makes me cry, because it breaks my heart to only imagine part of the anguish our Lord went through, but I don't only cry in despair, but in relief that His love is omnipresent and He will never leave us! (wipes tears) God Bless You and your whole family, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Aahhh Karilea ~ I can't begin to tell you all that this beautiful flow from your pen means to me this day ~ "If we choose to talk our histories, and in sharing bear the story, then in the story, hear the tale, and in the tale, acknowledge the losses…" Oh the meaning these words have today ~ Thanks ~ Bonnie |

Masterfully painted remembrance ... Your words touch some chords deep inside! ...might gather up the cracked shells of time, then weave them gently into a necklace of honor, to leave among our young… Love and hugs. Margherita |

only the storytellers who listen to the leaves move in the wind might gather up the cracked shells of time, then weave them gently into a necklace of honor, to leave among our young… You must listen well to those leaves. *S* This is just wonderful... and absolutely beautiful. *S* Of course, I laughed when I read the title... we seem to be on R's today! *S* |

Remembrance, Rebirth, Release ~the title pulled me in Sometimes extraordinary moments of black and white seem colored with time, ~set me in a nostalgic mood, perhaps because i am fond of saying "but we are all colored by our own experiences" these days whenever disputes arise..hence the soft spot for "colored" until the shell cracks, then all that remains are jewel-toned in special capture, ~beautiful...the use of "jewel-toned" was envy-inducing and inspired because, we did not yet have the knowledge of all we might or should know? As in when is too much, much too heavy, as in when do our shoulders bear burdens of lives past, and when does the past choose to reinstate itself upon the innocent? ~as a young adult starting to ask similar questions myself, i especially related to these If we choose to talk our histories, and in sharing bear the story, then in the story, hear the tale, and in the tale, acknowledge the losses… ~not a particularly organised person myself but i liked the methodical way in which you wrote this stanza...Hercule Poirot (from Agatha Christie's pen) would have approved! might gather up the cracked shells of time, then weave them gently into a necklace of honor, to leave among our young… ~dig the necklace image this is kidnapped and held ransom at my library |
